International Codes
International calling codes permit calls to be completed around the world from different countries. Listed are the international calling codes, listed alphabetically, for countries around the world. All country calling codes start with a ‘+’ symbol. This symbol means that callers need to use the code to begin an outbound international call from the country they are currently in. For example, if you were calling a Canadian number such as 506-555-5555, internationally you would be required to enter a ‘1’ before the number. This would make it +1 506-555-5555.
